Samita Bhattacharya is an international literature educator and founder of Frankly Speaking Tuition, a Singapore based virtual education center dedicated to personalized and transformative learning. With more than eleven years of teaching experience across global curricula, she has become known for helping students move beyond memorization toward deeper critical thinking, analytical confidence, and independent interpretation.
Her educational journey began in Kolkata at the University of Calcutta, where influential mentors shaped her understanding of literature as a living dialogue across cultures, histories, and ideas. These early academic experiences inspired a teaching philosophy rooted in curiosity, inquiry, and meaningful engagement rather than formulaic instruction.
Over the years, Samita has taught across IGCSE, IBDP, Edexcel Pearson IGCSE, Cambridge A & AS Levels, AQA GCSE, and Singapore General Paper programs.
