Emmanuel Ezirim’s academic journey began at The Ohio State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition before completing his pharmacy degree through the institution’s highly regarded College of Pharmacy. For four years, he distinguished himself as a varsity soccer letterman, an experience he has consistently credited with shaping the teamwork and collaborative leadership principles that continue to define his professional life.

Whether building a pharmacy from the ground up, leading a national professional association, or mentoring the next generation of pharmacists, Emmanuel has operated from a conviction that the best outcomes are always the product of people working together toward a shared purpose.
His professional journey spans more than seventeen years as President and CEO of Central Point Pharmacy, alongside decades of leadership within the Nigerian Association of Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Scientists in the Americas, known as NAPPSA. As a co-founder and founding member of the organisation, he helped establish one of North America’s most influential professional bodies representing Nigerian pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists. He later served as its seventh President, leading initiatives that strengthened professional development, mentorship, and international collaboration across the diaspora.

Together with his wife Chichi Ezirim, to whom he has been married since 1999, he established the Emmanuel and Chichi Ezirim Endowment Scholarship at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, creating a pathway for aspiring pharmacists who might otherwise find the journey financially prohibitive. He also co-sponsors the Just Us Endowment Initiative at the same institution and has supported infrastructure and academic development at Saharco Sacred Heart Secondary School in Aba, Nigeria, building bridges between the country that shaped him and the country he has made his home.
